Spooky Readers Book Club is an online community for readers who enjoy books with a touch of the strange, mysterious, or unsettling. We read across genres, including horror, fantasy, science fiction, romance, historical fiction, and mystery. Our books don’t always fit neatly into one category, and that’s part of the fun.
Each month, we explore a different theme and choose a book to read together. One month might take us into a haunted house, while another could introduce us to dark fairy tales, supernatural mysteries, or strange new worlds. We enjoy discovering books we might not have picked up on our own and hearing how other readers interpret them.
Our monthly meetings take place online, bringing together readers from different places and backgrounds for an hour of conversation. We talk about the characters, debate the endings, share our theories, and occasionally disagree about what we’ve just read. You don’t need an English degree or an encyclopedic knowledge of horror to participate. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to talk books.
